We recently interviewed a great bunch of guys, "We the Kings", and they have a top 40 single "Check Yes Juliet". Check out our interview with the band, and be sure to keep watching for an exclusive video interview and fan site.

K&K:  Can you please introduce yourself to our readers, and your role in the group?
Hi, I'm Travis Clark and I am the lead singer and guitarist for We The Kings. Also apart from me, there is: Hunter Thomsen on Guitar and backup vocals, his brother Drew Thomsen on Bass Guitar, and Danny Duncan on Drums and vocals.

K&K:  How did you get started in the music industry?
I started playing piano when I was 4 years old and loved it. Also my mom taught me how to play Blackbird by the Beatles on guitar at age 11 so I guess that's when I decided to take the band route. Hunter, Drew, Danny and I played music together in high school participating in battle of the bands and other local band shows. We as a band decided to try touring so we left every other weekend and drove to different parts of Florida playing back to back shows on Friday and Saturday nights for no money at all, just to get our name out there. After awhile we recorded a few demo songs and put them on Myspace.com and Purevolume.com. This is when things started heating up with the band. Around December of 2006 we received an email from our Manager stating that he liked our music and wanted to work with us. After signing to S-Curve Records in early 07' we put our debut record out and began touring the United States and Canada as well as the United Kingdom.

K&K:  How did you first come together as a group?
We all met as friends in Elementary School and Middle School. We get the name We The Kings from where we attended which was 'King Middle School.'

K&K:  What has influenced you musically?
Musically we are very influenced by Jimmy Eat World, The Beatles, Blink 182 and Third Eye Blind.

K&K:  What's your favorite song to perform?
Our favorite song to perform at the time would have to be 'Secret Valentine' it has a lot of sing a long parts to it and it's so amazing to hear everyone in the audience singing as loud as they can!

K&K:  If you could tour with anyone who would that be?
We all have different answers for this question: Hunter would want to tour with Lil Wayne. Drew would want to tour (obviously not possible but) with The Beatles. Danny would want to tour with Blink 182 (if they ever return). And personally I would love to tour with Fall Out Boy one day.

K&K:  Anything new coming up for you guys?
We will be releasing Secret Valentine very very soon soo be on the look out for it and make sure you call into Radio stations and request it everyday!!! Thanks again to everyone!

K&K:  What does the next year look like for you?
Other than non-stop touring, I think we'll end up doing a few more music videos because they are fun and hopefully some new recorded songs!

K&K:  Where do you see yourself five years from now?
Haha I'm not sure…maybe at my 5 year high school reunion?? I think it's better to hope that I'm still with my best friends continuing to tour the world and still writing music that we love!

K&K:  Is there anything you'd like to say to your fans?
Our fans are seriously the best people in this world right now! They are the reason that we are able to be a band and we owe everything to them and their support. We love you all and we hope to see you soon!!!.....and in 5 years haha
