Some urban legends are real as the tagline for Drew Seeley's upcoming movie says. 

This direct to DVD release is coming out September 29th, and is about a shortcut through the woods that no kid dared to take. The trail ran within sight of a scary house with an eerie old man who would accost its travelers with an ominous warning: Stay away! Now, decades later a group of teens are determined to find out the truth about the old man – and his dark secrets – when they learn that the urban legend may be all too real.

But when they uncover the truth, will they wish they hadn’t? And will they survive to tell the tale? When it comes to terror, take The Shortcut. Just be sure to expect a few sleepless nights afterward!

We'll be checking it out.

The DVD is rated PG-13, and the suggested retail price is $26.97 and comes out September 29th.
