Taylor Lautner looks to be the next action star in the like of Arnold, Sylvester, Vin, Jean Claude, and other action legends. He's signed on to more action movies. 

Taylor just signed on to do an action thriller called Abduction which is about a teen who unleashes a violent chain of events when he finds out why he always felt disconnected from his parents.

Lautner is also set to star in Northern Lights, which is an action movie complete with stunts, and also as previously mentioned, the 3d movie Stretch Armstrong, and Max Steel.

Looks like we'll be getting a lot of Taylor to watch on the big screen. He's grown so much since his Sharkboy days.

Taylor Lautner has been chosen to play the title role in an upcoming 3D movie based on the toy Stretch Armstrong.

Universal casted Taylor and the movie is expected to be released in 2012.

Universal Pictures Co-Chairman Donna Langley says, “In the past two years, Taylor has emerged as a real star at the global box office. He brings the perfect balance of energy and athleticism to the role of an unlikely super hero with a fantastic super power. We couldn’t be more pleased that he has agreed to be our Stretch.”

According to ShowBiz Spy, Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift split over eating habits. Turns out Taylor Lautner is a health food nut who eats low fat high protein foods (to maintain his bod), and Taylor Swift is a junk food junkie who love biscuits and gravy. It's reported that the couple frequently fought over food.

“Picking restaurants for date nights has turned into a huge headache and always leads to a squabble.

“The only food option they can agree on is sushi.”  

After the break up, Taylor Lautner did take a jab at Swift saying, “I just want someone who can be themselves. Not put on a show,” said Taylor. “It is as simple as that. I’m not dating anyone right now.”

We're sure we're going to hear a new break up song from Taylor Swift.
